In 2003 Joey Elstob phoned to offer me a 3 yr. old colt out of Whalton Heavens Above. I bought him and the rest is history.
Shown by Sally, Boy Blue qualified for the Cuddy final at what was only his second show ever. He was an unbelievable 2nd at HOYS and went on to qualify for the Cuddy for the next three years. He had a 3rd, 6th and another 2nd. It is impossible to list the many championships Blue has won as a S.P. P.BA and as a Performance Pony. In 2005 he was P.UK Supreme Champion of the Show.
In 2009 Boy Blue commenced his ridden career and first time out won and qualified for the RIHS Second time out at Cheshire Co. he was class winner, Cherif qualifier and Champion Ridden Arab.
Boy Blue’s pedigree contains the very best of Riding Pony bloodlines. His sire, Ninfield Millionaire is the sire of many winning show ponies and Hacks whilst Whalton Heavens Above’s progeny is all successful either in the UK or Australia.
Heavenly Boy Blue combines bloodlines with presence and fabulous temperament. He is regularly ridden and lives and travels with an assortment of horses/ponies.
He has inherited his mother’s famous athletic movement and has natural collection and ‘uphill’ movement.
Boy Blue is the sire of Mrs. R. Kelbie’s R.P. filly Lyndrose Tiny Dancer who has been Supreme Champion each time shown,
